I bought my Grim Tims five years ago. I am regularly asked where I bought these “custom” Nudie jeans from, to which I tell the story of how they were made out of necessity. I bought myself some vintage braces with button loops from a flea market, this inspired my biggest alteration to date. I added 6 Nudie branded buttons to my old Grim Tims, to allow the use of my new purchase. Around two years ago when having a competition with a mate on who could ten pin bowl the fastest I heard a huge ripping noise. I did win the bowling though! This lead to the alteration using the patches and orange stitch. Even though they are my oldest, they are still my favorite pair in the wardrobe.
