Description
A high-waisted, regular fit with a straight leg, meticulously washed to capture the vintage charm of a Nudie Jeans treasure. Our journey began when we stumbled upon a remarkable discovery—an old pair of our jeans at a flea market in Majorna, a vibrant neighborhood in our hometown of Gothenburg. Gothenburg is usually a very good place to thrift vintage Nudie Jeans, but this one was something special. These jeans bore the marks of time, evidence of being cherished and worn by multiple individuals. Remnants of waistband alterations and painstaking darning repairs, undoubtedly crafted at one of our Repair Shops, adorned the fabric. The most captivating feature was the beautifully executed handmade patch repairs, carefully stitched with hickory stripe denim, adorning each knee. Further investigation revealed an intriguing story behind these jeans. They were initially picked up by a former Vallgatan Store Manager from our store's Re-use selection. Subsequently, he personally wore and repaired them, infusing them with character and history. The hickory stripe denim used for the meticulous knee repairs was sourced from one of our designers, adding another layer of connection to our headquarters. Eventually, these jeans found their way into the hands of a friend, who in turn sold them to us. Now, we proudly preserve and showcase these jeans in our Nudie Jeans HQ archives, periodically displaying them as one of our most cherished local finds.
