A new book on the art of building a global brand by the founder of Nudie Jeans. Maria Erixon founded the denim brand Nudie Jeans with Joakim Levin, her husband at the time, in 2001. “At the time, we were almost the only company building a brand based tangibly on values. When we started Nudie Jeans in 2001, we decided that environmental awareness and human rights would permeate everything we did. The world has largely caught up in 2019 and as we’ve grown, opportunities have opened up to us to be able to contribute to the journey. We’re trying to make good use of the chance,” writes Maria Erixon in the book. In the new book Start Your Own F*cking Brand, Maria writes about the little company that became a global brand, about successes and setbacks, and the sacrifices that entrepreneurship requires. The book is also a love letter to denim and the indigo dye that turns each pair of jeans into a unique work of art – and to everyone who has been part of the journey. Start Your Own F*cking Brand will be published in English and Swedish and will be released on the Swedish market on October 15 with the English version soon to come.

Sleepy Sixten is a regular relaxed fit with a straight leg. Classic and yet contemporary, wear it high and tight for the classic look, or oversized and low for a more baggy look.
All Nudie Jeans denim can be worn by men and women. We started out primarily as a menswear brand but our jeans also fit a female body as the Nudie Jeans family of fits is unisex. Nudie Jeans offers jeans for men and women from tight to the more relaxed fits in several washes from dry, black to pre washed denim. Everblack – Denim that doesn’t fade Normally when you dye a fabric, the pigment cannot completely be fixated onto the yarn and fibers. You will end up with excess dye that remains unfixed on the surface. Eventually, it will tear off as you wear and wash your garment. In the EVERBLACK case, the method and type of dyestuff differ from the standard formula. It provides a stronger fixation resulting in great color fastness properties. It also minimizes excess dye and stabilizes the little that remains. This means the EVERBLACK jeans will keep its pitch-black tone for 40 (or more) home washings. The dyeing process is made according to OEKO-TEX standards.
