Dry one and Two
– – – These are the very denim fabrics we started with in 2001. Dry, Italian, and capable of breaking in beautifully.
– – – Woven from ring-spun yarns into a dense, flatly textured 13.5 oz rigid 3/1 right-hand twill, Dry One is raw, honest, and full of potential. In its dry state, the deep indigo dye contrasts boldly with our orange threads, and vertical streaks are already visible, ready to evolve into striking fades.
– – – Washed, The One showcases vivid indigo hues, a sturdy, compact hand, and pronounced vertical streaks. This season, Dry One spreads to Eddie II, Rufus, and the special Dry Ecru Waves rendition in Tony. Washed, its glory is unveiled as the simple yet striking Tuff Tony Quite Gold.
Options in Dry One
– – – Clean, rigid, very textural, yet surprisingly soft, this ring-spun 11.5 oz rigid 3/1 broken twill is full of character. Heavily slubby yarns give it a bold appearance that is softened by the broken twill weave. Its deep indigo with grey cast promises expressive fades.
– – – Washed, The Two comes alive with greyish-indigo tones — blackish depths and grey highlights layered through its slubby, textured twill — combining ruggedness with soft hand. This season, Dry Two spreads to Jackson, shining Echoed Gold in Rufus and the special Tidal Waves rendition in Jackson.
