Description

Regular fit shirt with a western-style yoke made in organic cotton. This shirt is made from an indigo, yarn-dyed chambray contrasted by beige seams and beige pearl prong buttons. A chambray fabric is a like-sided plain weave where the warp yarns are dyed, in this case in indigo, and the weft yarns are left undyed. Just like denim, chambray is a historical workwear fabric that will age with wearing and washing. This chambray has a pleasing light blue hue and a flat surface. With washing, the indigo will bleed over slightly onto the white weft yarns giving them a slightly darker hue. The fabric surface structure will also change, from the flat, slightly crosshatch structure to a richer structure with small but wonderful diagonal marbling effects. With wearing and washing, the shade will slowly become lighter and lighter. Even though it is an indigo dyed fabric, there is no need to refrain from washing it. This as the chambray will not generate wear-marks to the same extent denim does. However, make sure to wash it with similar colored garments.
