Pitch black jeans made in dry comfort stretch denim that stays black. Our Everblack fabric is made to maintain its color for as long as possible, withstanding 40 or more washes without any significant loss of color. If you are looking for a pair of pitch-black jeans that do not fade, this is the way to go.

Keen on knowing what differentiates Everblack from other black denim?
Normally, when denim is dyed, part of the dye will absorb in the cotton fibers while the rest remains bound only to the surface of the yarns. This is what gives denim its aging property that in many cases is sought after. However, when it comes to black jeans this is not always the case which is why we developed the Everblack denim. The technical difference between Everblack and regular black denim is that it utilizes a method and type of dyestuff that allows improved absorption as well as a stronger fixation. This results in denim with a significantly greater colorfastness, which does not fade with wearing and washing.

Care Instructions

Wash only when needed. But when you do, always follow the care instruction, and you'll enjoy your garment longer.

I have the everblues which quickly became my fave pair of jeans. I ordered a pair of everblack from iconic which arrived damaged (zipper broken) so I sent them back and ordered from Nudie direct. Great service and quality. Love them!

Things I like. The Lean Dean is the perfect jean for me for style and cut and, they are true to name, they are ever black. My criticism though is that they're not super durable. The pockets on two pairs of my Lean Deans have developed holes and tears quite early in their lives. The free repair that Nudie advertise was not available to me as I don't live in a city with a Nudie repair shop and they won't accept mail returns for repair which is very disappointing.

Love these jeans, but the one frustrating thing is the waist sizing. They fit smaller than any of the other Lean Dean denim. Would recommend sizing up. Leg opening is also a little slimmer. I typically order the 32/28 but size up to the 33/28 and they still feel a little tight.

Have always been a fan of Nudie. Excellent denim, with an even better company culture. What I love about the Lean Dean is they are ideal for the fit I want with my body proportions. I need a bigger waist size these days (in my 40’s now), but don’t want the legs to follow suit. Lean Dean allows for my waist AND a slimmer fit (not skinny). **To consider: the selvage and Everblacks fit tighter than the lighter washes. I ordered same size in Moonstone and they are too big. I have to wash and dry (which I NEVER do) after a few wears to maintain fit. Kind of bummed, but still love my Nudies.

The jeans material was really bad. It felt prickly all over even after washing a few times. Something has changed with the material. It was very nice when I bought my first pair. The one I bought recently feels prickly, and rough.

How to return

If you're not happy with the items you received you can return them to us within 14 days (30 days if a member of c/o Nudie Jeans). The items must be unworn in their original condition and with all tags attached. You register your return by visiting www.nudiejeans.com/returns and in our mission to lessen our environmental footprint, we’ve decided to charge a fee for returns. The return fee for your location is 60 SEK.

It's important that you return your product in the same condition you received it. This means labels still attached, and no visible wear marks. Sealed packages with underwear or socks for which the seal has been broken by you can't be returned.
