Description

Regular fit jeans with a tapered leg made with rigid, heavy denim.

This one is made from deeply saturated pure indigo, heavyweight, 15 oz. Turkish denim, with great aging potential. After some wearing and washing, the yarns will interact and you'll reap the rewards that ring-spun and open-end yarns create - that typical 90s marbling effect. It's the combination of yarn-spinning methods that renders the marble texture. The built-in tension formed by the yarns gives the denim a puckering texture that becomes more pronounced with wearing and washing.

Much like the best Japanese denim, this Turkish denim, developed by Orta, is dyed in pure indigo to an almost black indigo tone. Like all pure indigo-dyed denim, this one ages to a clean, blue redcast tone. The initial deep tone will allow for some nice highs and lows as your pair approaches vintage denim status. Enjoy.

Overall the denim was rigid and high quality. I was impressed by the great stitching. There was only one loose thread inside the bottom of the left pant leg, which is pretty impressive. This show they have great quality control. I knocked off one star because these are supposed to be a regular fit, but they fit me like slim jeans, especially in the quad area. I'm afraid these will be too tight after washing. I might get them dry cleaned as a precaution. I will try the Tuff Tony fit next time. They might fit like regular jeans on me, offering me a little more room for the quads

Ordered these Steady Eddie IIs online and picked up from the friendly guys at Nudie on Oldham St Manchester.. they were in stock so pick up was next day. Having previously bought Rad Rufus Japanese selvedge, I kinda knew what to expect with sizing, so ordered down a size to 34" to suit my 36" waist (they actually measure 36") and I don't expect much shrinkage as they are sanforised (pre-shrunk). They fit perfect, and better than all my other (mostly Levis) jeans. I love the look and feel of the Eddies, nice crisp denim with superb detailing and stitching. I'm not a big fan of faded denim and I love the raw crisp look of them just as they are, so will avoid washing for as long as I can. Altogether delighted with my purchase, and they look great paired with heavy country brogue shoes (like Loake, Trickers, Cheaneys etc).. I wear boots with the Rad Rufus as the ankle opening is wider and more suited to boots IMO. My best advice is use the sizing tool online if you can't get into store to try on, having first measured a couple of pairs of your best fitting jeans for comparison.. if you do, you won't go wrong if buying online.

How to return

If you're not happy with the items you received you can return them to us within 14 days (30 days if a member of c/o Nudie Jeans). The items must be unworn in their original condition and with all tags attached. You register your return by visiting www.nudiejeans.com/returns and in our mission to lessen our environmental footprint, we’ve decided to charge a fee for returns. The return fee for your location is 60 SEK.

It's important that you return your product in the same condition you received it. This means labels still attached, and no visible wear marks. Sealed packages with underwear or socks for which the seal has been broken by you can't be returned.
